RE100 is a global commitment initiated by the Climate Group, bringing together the world's most influential businesses like Apple, Google, Facebook, Coca Cola, Microsoft, Phillips, and Goldman, to achieve 100% renewable electricity across the world within the minimum period (by 2050).
On March 12, 2020, LONGi joined the RE100. The initiative advocates that the world's most influential multinational companies should use 100% green electricity, and LONGi promises to use 100% renewable energy by 2028.
During the SNEC solar power expo, LONGi presented its RE100 roadmap at its booth, showing its five-stage transition plan and its commitment to 100% renewable energy by 2028. Meanwhile, LONGi joined hands with Solargiga and Envision to launch RE100 China. It was the first time for the wind, solar, and energy storage top players to work together and promote their 100% renewable energy ideas.
