LONGi Brazil 267MW Utility Commercial Project

Located in the municipality of Paracatu, Minas Gerais, over 487,000 LONGi solar modules are distributed across 509 hectares—equivalent to 471 football fields—boasting an installed capacity of 267 MW.

Annually, the project is expected to prevent the emission of 162,000 tons of CO₂, while also generating 145,000 carbon credits each year.

In commercial operation since November 2023, the energy produced is marketed in the free market to supply renewable energy to companies in the mining and plastic production, processing, and recycling sectors. The photovoltaic complex of São João do Paracatu is a significant initiative in the energy transition and decarbonization of both the energy matrix and the Brazilian industry.
