Panama City, July 8, 2023 - LONGi Solar Technology Co., Ltd. and CELTEC S.A., a wholesale solar distributor in Panama, have signed an important distribution agreement for 50 MW, which aims to supply the demanding small-scale photovoltaic market in Central America with state-of-the-art solar modules that will become the strategic piece for the development of new residential, commercial and industrial projects.
For LONGi, this alliance represents the company's commitment to contribute to the energy transition and sustainable development of the region. The leading photovoltaic manufacturer has found in CELTEC a strategic partner that shares its values and its mission to make clean energy equally accessible and affordable for all.
This event took place during the presentation of the Hi-MO 6 series of photovoltaic modules in Panama, a solid product and a best seller in the distributed market that incorporates the novel high-efficiency HPBC (Hybrid Passivated Back Contact) solar cell technology, unique for its design without busbars on the front that takes the aesthetics of the module beyond anything seen in the market.
