Lisbon, Portugal | June 30, 2025 – Last week LONGi Solar, the global leader in solar innovation, showcased its technological leadership at Galp’s Innovation Day in Lisbon, designed to explore and co-create the future of energy and innovation by bringing together startups, corporates, regulators, academia, and thought industry leaders.

LONGi was the only exhibitor of back contact (BC) module technology at the event. Spearheaded by President of LONGi Europe Mr. François Cui and supported by the Spanish commercial team, the participation featured live demonstrations of LONGi outstanding Back Contact module technology.

During the invitation event at Galp’s headquarters, LONGi explored opportunities to align the deployment of its Hi-MO 9’s industry-leading capabilities with Galp’s renewable energy strategy. The collaboration includes Galp’s Pitarco Plant, where a year-long pilot will test Hi-MO 9’s energy yield using LONGi’s GSE smart O&M analytics platform.

Mr. François Cui, President of LONGi Europe, emphasized "It was a true honor and privilege to be invited to Galp’s exclusive energy innovation event. Being able to showcase our unique technology underscores our commitment to leading the solar industry forward. We believe this will play a crucial role in accelerating the global transition to clean energy."
