LONGi ranks the world’s only AAA-Rated status module supplier in the newly released PV ModuleTech Bankability Ratings

On February 25, the London-based PV-Tech released the new list of Q1 2020 bankability analysis, which ranks PV module suppliers within the PV ModuleTech Bankability Ratings. LONGi, China's top solar manufacturer, has been rated AAA-Rated status (the highest grade achievable) and becomes the world's only one that ranked AAA-Rated status among the global PV industry.

 

The rating system conducted by the PV-Tech market research team is a well-recognized analytical tool in the PV industry to evaluate the finance ability rating for all PV module manufacturers, by mainly taking manufacturing capacity and financial health into consideration. The top-ranking achieved by LONGi has proven its strong operating performance and steady financial strategy.

"LONGi will achieve the AAA-Rated status in the next 12 months"

, previously stated in 2019 by Finlay Colville, Head of Research of PV-Tech & Solar Media Ltd. In this newly-released article, he explained that good financial health is the main drive for LONGi to obtain the AAA-Rated status solar manufacturer. It is, actually, the traditional advantage of LONGi. In the past few years, LONGi has maintained an asset-liability ratio of around 50% for a long time, maintaining a leading position in the PV industry. 

Prior to this, LONGi ranked top status in the "PV Triathlon Competitiveness Report" and Bloomberg NEF's Altman-z score. LONGi has also ranked NO.1 in Tier 1 module maker list in 2019 with an annual module capacity of 15 GW. The Tiering system, developed by Bloomberg NEF based on the "Bankability" of modules for PV manufacturer. LONGi has showcased its superior comprehensive strength in numerous top rankings related to the "Bankability" of modules for PV manufacturers.
