August 3, 2018, LONGi Green Energy Technology Co., Ltd. and Guangdong Aiko Solar Energy Technology Co., Ltd. signed an agreement for cooperation in the development of CCZ (continuous Czochralski) high-efficiency monocrystalline products. Executives from both parties formalized the agreement after in-depth discussions on the future development of the PV industry and applications of CCZ based high-efficiency monocrystalline products. CCZ process produces narrower longitudinal resistivity distribution of silicon ingots that is suited in high-efficiency P-type PERC and high-efficiency N-type cells. The cooperation is for LONGi Solar to provide CCZ based solar monocrystalline wafers to Aiko Solar to produce mono PERC solar cells.
LONGi Green Energy Technology Co., Ltd. has focused on high-efficiency monocrystalline technology since the company inception in 2000 and actively deploys next-generation high-efficiency monocrystalline products. LONGi Solar has completed the research and development of CCZ high-efficiency monocrystalline products and has developed series production capabilities for the process. LONGi Solar’s strategic product planning and equipment layout allows existing production equipment to be upgraded for CCZ production process to quickly respond to customers’ demand for CCZ based high-efficiency monocrystalline products.
LONGi Green Energy Technology Co., Ltd. adheres to the mission of promoting customer value. The cooperation with Aiko Solar will promote the development and application of CCZ high-efficiency monocrystalline technology and enhance the technical competitiveness of both companies.
Established in 2009, Guangdong Aiko Solar Energy Technology is one of the largest manufacturers for advanced crystalline solar cells. It specializes in solar cell research, manufacture and sales. “By using only top quality materials, including wafers from Aiko’s key supplier LONGi Solar, as well as manufacturing equipment from the top suppliers, customers are confident in the quality and performance of the end result.” Says Michael Ho, Aiko Solar Vice General Manager.
