On January 15, 2018, LONGi Solar brought its efficient monocrystalline modules to the World Future Energy Summit (WFES) in Abu Dhabi, perfectly illustrating that the photovoltaic products with higher efficiency, higher reliability and higher energy yield are the future direction of sustainable energy development and green living.

As part of the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week, the WFES hosted by Masdar (Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company) has been successfully held 11 sessions and become the world’s foremost global annual event dedicated to advancing renewable energy and clean technologies.

The opening ceremony is themed with “Butterfly Effect”, aiming to provide countermeasures and solutions to the non-renewability of petroleum resources in the Middle East and the sustainable development of local economic and environmental benefits, like the butterfly effect, to affect the entire macro environment from scratch. At the conference, new energy, mainly PV, attracted more attention and expectation from local exhibitors and audiences.

Xia Aimin, Overseas Marketing Director of LONGi Solar, commented at an energy-efficient technology forum held during the WFES that the advent of PV3.0 era meant that the modules with high efficiency, reliability and yield had become the market mainstream, LONGi Solar’s 72-cell module had reached a power over 360W, which would lead the development of the industry, exert extensive influence, and accelerate the “grid parity” of PV worldwide.

LONGi Solar set up a booth in the energy zone to showcase its latest technologies and innovative products for sustainable development. The Hi-MO2 bifacial PERC module of LONGi Solar can realize bifacial power generation while maintaining the high conversion efficiency of single-sided PERC, and the bifacial power generation can increase the energy yield of the entire system by up to 25%. The efficient module received a lot of attention and praise.

LONGi Solar also invited representatives of companies such as DuPont, Huawei, Sungrow and PowerChina to give speeches at its booth, attracting many professional audiences.

A senior executive of DuPont made a presentation

Yi Zhenzi, Senior Business Manager of PowerChina Guizhou Engineering Corporation, made a presentation

Chris Benoehr, International Account Manager of Sungrow, made a presentation

Dong Yinzhong, Director of Solutions, Huawei, made a presentation

The convening of the World Future Energy Summit marks a new departure for LONGi Solar’s overseas journey in 2018. In the future, LONGi Solar will roll out its global strategy worldwide, bring more efficient monocrystalline products to the market, and join hands with more industry colleagues and local enterprises to promote sustainable energy development in the world.
