Field Tests proved average bifacial gain of 19.9% of LONGi Solar Hi-MO2
bifacial PERC Mono when compared directly with Hi-MO1 monofacial with the same
mono PERC cells. The bifacial gain peaked as high as
25.8%.
Test conditions:
1st Sep to
10th Nov 2018 in Hainan, China. The Sep dataset was captured from 8:45am-4:55pm
while Oct and Nov data was 8:45am-3:55pm. Surface is white painted ground.
Hainan’s
environment near the coast and perennial humidity requires salt-mist corrosion
certification for PV modules that guarantees performance over their lifetime.
