In collaboration with local EPC partner PPE Solar, LONGi used 974.08 kW of Hi-MO X10 modules to help CHUMPHONWARIN, a water enterprise, find a solution to reduce its electricity costs while advancing its green transition efforts.
Shadow Tolerance: The project faced shading issues from utility poles and other obstructions on the rooftop. Hi-MO X10's unique quasi-bypass diode-like design ingeniously bypasses shadowed areas, reducing power loss by over 70% compared to standard modules. Simultaneously, it significantly decreases hot-spot temperatures under shadow conditions by more than 28% compared to conventional cells, preventing localized overheating and eliminating fire risks at the source;
High Temperature Durability: Under Thailand’s 40 °C blazing heat conditions, Hi-MO X10 demonstrates unwavering performance. Its superior power temperature coefficient of -0.26% per °C minimizes efficiency losses, while its innovative low-conduction design and low operating temperature further ensure optimal power generation efficiency even under extreme heat conditions;
Resistance to Wind and Rain: Hi-MO X10’s advanced water-resistant encapsulation forms a strong barrier against moisture. Precise lamination techniques reduce moisture infiltration, effortlessly handling Thailand’s rainy season, including the 'Songkran Festival mode.' The one-line structure welding design enhances crack resistance, providing strong defenses even in typhoon conditions.
