LONGi and Fortescue Sign Landmark Agreement to Drive Global Grid Decarbonization

San Ramon, CA - Sep 28 - LONGi Green Energy Technology Co., Ltd, a global leader in solar technology, has announced the signing of a Heads of Agreement with Fortescue Ltd, a world-leading resources and green energy company. This milestone partnership reflects both companies shared commitment to accelerating the global transition to clean energy, with a strong emphasis on North and South American markets.

Under the agreement, LONGi will supply high-efficiency solar photovoltaic (PV) modules and collaborate on joint venture projects focused on integrated green energy solutions, including generation, storage, and transmission. Key regions for development include the United States, Chile, and Peru, alongside opportunities in Australia, Africa, and the Middle East.

LONGi will serve as a strategic technology partner, supplying latest-generation PV products and contributing its expertise in lowering the levelized cost of energy (LCOE) to ensure the projects are among the most competitive worldwide. By leveraging LONGi’s advanced solar technology and Fortescue’s large-scale decarbonization initiatives, the partnership aims to accelerate the shift from fossil fuels to renewables in markets that need it most.
