San Ramon, CA - January 14, 2026 - LONGi Green Energy (“LONGi”), a global clean energy technology company, today acknowledged its participation in an industry collaboration supporting the establishment of a U.S.-based battery energy storage system (BESS) manufacturing platform led by NeoVolta and PotisEdge.
The newly formed joint venture, NeoVolta Power, LLC, will develop domestic BESS manufacturing capacity in Pendergrass, Georgia, designed to serve the growing U.S. utility-scale and commercial & industrial (C&I) energy storage markets. The project reflects continued industry alignment across solar, storage, and grid infrastructure to support resilient and scalable clean-energy systems in the United States.
Supporting U.S. Manufacturing and Energy Infrastructure
The Georgia facility is designed for 2 GWh of initial annual production capacity with scalability to up to 8 GWh, supporting the potential to power over 1.4 million homes. Mass production is expected to begin in mid-2026. The facility will focus on battery pack assembly and system integration, supporting utility-scale and C&I applications and contributing to regional job creation and supply-chain localization.
