LONGi and Origin Sign MOU to Advance Commercial Solar Supply in Australia

LONGi and Origin have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at Smart Energy Exhibition 2026 in Sydney, establishing a formal framework for collaboration across commercial solar supply, customer communications, and market development in Australia.
The agreement brings together LONGi’s global manufacturing scale and technology credentials with Origin’s established position in Australia’s commercial and industrial energy market, where it works with large businesses to help reduce energy costs and support decarbonisation.
Origin supports large-scale rooftop solar deployments for commercial and industrial customers nationally. LONGi modules are being supplied into Origin’s commercial solar projects, including as part of these programmes.
Large businesses operating at scale impose stringent requirements on their energy supply chains, including product traceability, long-term performance warranties, and manufacturer stability. The partnership reflects both companies’ view that meeting those standards is central to accelerating solar adoption in Australia’s commercial sector.
