During the module selection phase, LONGi’s Hi-MO X10 stood out due to three key advantages. First, it delivers over 3% additional power generation, overcoming rooftop space limitations and potentially adding up to 1 million kWh of power annually for the same area of installation. Second, it is designed to tackle the unique challenges of Wenling's coastal environment, characterized by high humidity and strong salt spray corrosion. With its low temperature coefficient and extremely low degradation rate, the modules ensure stable output throughout their full lifecycle. Third, its industry-leading 30-year linear power warranty promises nearly 10 million RMB in additional revenue compared to conventional modules. Additionally, its unique hotspot prevention feature enhances industrial safety, ensuring the plant’s system reliability meets rugged industrial standards.

Project Highlights

On the 80,000-square-meter rooftop of Xinlei Compressor Co., Ltd 18,800 Hi-MO X10 modules have been installed, delivering high-capacity green electricity to power the company's precision machining equipment, automated robotics, and modern assembly lines.

Operational data from the project indicates that the Hi-MO X10 high-efficiency power plant generates over 12 million kWh annually, equivalent to the environmental benefit of planting 80,000 trees. Approximately 85% of this electricity is consumed directly by the production system.

The project’s total power generation far exceeds expectations, shortening the payback period to around two years. This not only significantly reduces energy consumption costs for production but also helps Xinlei build a green manufacturing system through the adoption of clean energy. It serves as an innovative demonstration of sustainability for the equipment manufacturing industry.
