Intersolar Europe is currently the largest and most influential solar industry event in Europe and is held annually at New Munich Trade Fair Centre, Germany, devoted to photovoltaic, energy storage and renewable energy products and solutions.

LONGi Solar exhibited five module products, namely, high-power low-degradation PERC 60-cell module (Hi-MO1), PERC 60-cell black module, 72-cell 1500V module, stacked module and bifacial PERC 72-cell module (Hi-MO2). The bifacial module as a new product vigorously promoted by LONGi Solar attracted a lot of professional visitors.

Li Zhenguo, President of LONGi solar and Richard For, Vice President of Overseas Business, LONGi Solar are interviewed by the media

During the exhibition, LONGi solar President Li Zhenguo accepted an interview by Solar Media, a well-known media platform for the solar industry. He revealed that LONGi Solar plans to make the p-type mono PERC bifacial double glass module the company’s mainstream product in two years, and in three to five years, except in the residences where the distance for the back side is insufficient, bifacial double glass products will be widely used in the solar industry.

“Customers only need to pay a little extra cost to get a big return from the back side of the module, which is the benefit of bifacial products. So far, we have no industry standards for bifacial double glass module products, and  we choose to list the front and rear power output so that customers can use these for their system design and assess what boost they can get from the rear” According to Li Zhenguo, bifacial double glass products will become mainstream products in two years.
