At this year' s Intersolar Europe 2019, LONGi will unveil two brand new high-efficiency modules based on next generation cells.
Intersolar Europe, European' s leading exhibition for the solar industry, will kick off at Messe München in Munich, Germany on 15th – 17th May. Since its founding 27 years old, Intersolar has become the most important industry platform for the solar industry.

Building on LONGi Solar' s innovative series of Hi-MO panels and leadership in half-cut cell technology and bifacial module construction, the next generation product effectively reduces package loss and increases average output. Half-cell has obvious advantages in power generation under weak light and shadow conditions and excellent heat spot resistance, bringing with it lower BOS costs and reduced LCOE.
LONGi has always regarded advanced technology to be an industry driver, and as a fundamental principle, has sustained high investments in R&D to lead industry development. In 2018, LONGi invested US$186 million in R&D - amongst the highest in the PV industry. LONGi has obtained 526 patents and rewritten the world' s cell and module efficiency record five times. In 2019, LONGi broke the industry's previously theoretical mono PERC cell efficiency limit of 24%.
Over the years, LONGi has consistently launched new products that set new industry benchmarks. The two new modules to be released at Intersolar Europe inherit the existing advantages of LONGi’s high-efficiency modules and achieve major breakthroughs in power and aesthetics, becoming another milestone in technological innovation.
