Recently, Kiwa PVEL officially published its 2025 PV Module Reliability Scorecard. LONGi modules once again secured the "Top Performer" designation based on their excellent results. This marks the eighth time LONGi has received this prestigious PVEL certification, further solidifying its sustained leadership in global PV module reliability and performance.
Kiwa PVEL is the world's foremost authoritative independent testing body for photovoltaic (PV) modules. Since its launch in 2012, its Product Qualification Program (PQP) has systematically evaluated the long-term reliability and performance of PV modules through rigorous testing protocols that far exceed IEC standards. The PQP steadfastly adheres to four core principles: Evidence-based data, Standardized processes, Third-party witnessed sampling to prevent "golden samples", Continuous updates to test standards, ensuring alignment with the latest PV module technologies. Its published PV Module Reliability Scorecard has become a benchmark reference standard for the global photovoltaic industry.
In the 2025 PV Module Reliability Scorecard, LONGi secured the "Top Performer" designation due to its outstanding results in critical tests including TC (Thermal Cycling), MSS (Mechanical Stress Sequence), PID (Potential Induced Degradation), LID+LETID (Light Induced Degradation and Light and Elevated Temperature Induced Degradation), and PAN File (Simulation Data File Performance).
Particularly noteworthy is that in 2025, only 21 module types globally earned the "Top Performer" rating across all reliability tests. Furthermore, just three module types—including LONGi—achieved this top honor simultaneously in PAN File testing. LONGi's inclusion in this elite group further attests to its exceptional performance in product reliability, performance consistency, and long-term energy yield.
