The furniture manufacturing industry is known for being a high-energy-consuming sector with substantial electricity demands. Yanjialong Home Building Materials Co., Ltd, a comprehensive enterprise in this field, faces annual electricity costs as high as 50 to 60 million CNY, significantly increasing operational expenses. To reduce energy costs and enhance its environmental competitiveness, Yanjialong decided to invest in a distributed PV power station. They selected high-efficiency Hi-MO X10 modules with a total installed capacity of 13.2 MW, utilizing factory rooftops and idle spaces for installation.
The project employs a "self-consumption with surplus electricity fed into the grid" model. Electricity generated by the PV system is prioritized for the company’s production needs, while any excess energy is fed into the grid to maximize economic benefits. The project generates 15.24 million kWh of electricity annually, saving the company over 10 million CNY in energy expenses. With a lifespan of over 30 years, the photovoltaic power station is set to provide the enterprise with a continuous and stable source of sustainable revenue in the long run.
