Founded in 2000 and listed on Shanghai Stock Exchange in 2012, LONGi is the world’s largest manufacturer of solar monocrystalline silicon wafers, cells and modules. Recently, LONGi has officially opened its 5GW high-efficiency monocrystalline module factory in Chuzhou, Anhui, China. According to PV Tech’s on-going analysis of global capacity expansion announcements, LONGi Solar’s total nameplate module assembly capacity should be the highest amongst solar module manufacturers in 2019.
