XI'AN, China | June 18, 2026 - LONGi has signed a cooperation agreement with SG Energy, a Korean building photovoltaic company. The partnership focuses on LONGi BRIGHT , covering product certification, pilot project development, and sales channel expansion in the Korean market. The agreement supports the international expansion of LONGi BRIGHT and advances LONGi's global building photovoltaic business.

South Korea is one of the most active building photovoltaic markets globally. Under revised standards from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT), public buildings have been required to meet Zero-Energy Building (ZEB) standards since 2023. New private multi-family housing must achieve ZEB Level 5 or higher by 2026. Green building certification and RE100 initiatives continue to drive demand for energy efficiency and renewable energy alternatives. Limited urban land and scarce rooftop space make facades, shading systems, and perimeter walls valuable surfaces. Building-integrated photovoltaic products that function as construction materials while generating power are needed to meet ZEB targets across industrial, commercial, and public applications without sacrificing usable space.
This is where LONGi BRIGHT fits. It functions as a colorful building material that generates electricity. Available in multiple colors and customizable dimensions, it replaces conventional facade, shading, and roofing materials. From the renovation of Beijing Workers' Stadium to the large-scale installation at Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center, LONGi BRIGHT has demonstrated compliance with national building codes and high power output in China.

SG Energy is a Korean building photovoltaic company with local expertise in project development, distribution, and complex construction delivery. The two companies' product capabilities and local resources are complementary. They aligned quickly on partnership structure, product customization, and after-sales service.
The agreement was initiated by LONGi's Korean team. Zhao Bin, President of LONGi East Asia and Southeast Asia, discussed market prospects with SG Energy during negotiations. Bai Zhongxue, Assistant to the Chairman and President of LONGi Building PV System Business Unit, and Justin Lee, CEO of SG Energy, signed the agreement on-site. Under the agreement, both parties will accelerate Korean Standards (KS) certification, launch pilot projects, and establish a sales network covering premium commercial buildings and public facilities.
This partnership advances LONGi BRIGHT's international expansion. SG Energy's local delivery capabilities and distribution network complement LONGi's product technology. Together, they will provide building photovoltaic solutions adapted to the Korean market. Starting with this agreement, the two companies will deepen collaboration in certification, project development, and technical services to expand the deployment of LONGi BRIGHT in Korea.
